The Louisiana State Freight Plan(SFP) provides the state with a blueprint for facilitating continued economic growth through a comprehensive, multimodal strategy for addressing freight transportation needs and moving goods efficiently and safely throughout the state. Specifically, the Plan will:

• Meet federal guidelines and support future planning, policies and investment in Louisiana;
• Support business case for freight system investments;
• Promote safe, efficient, and resilient goods mobility and supply chain support in Louisiana;
• Develop data to support local and regional mobility planning; and
• Reflect input from private sector freight stakeholders
